Fructose mechanism and uric acid! Fructose is not just 'sugar'.
It is a biological signal. And the problem doesn't start with fructose itself.
It depends on HOW MUCH, HOW OFTEN and in WHAT FORM we deliver it to the body. When we take glucose:
- muscles can use it,
- the brain can use it,

- whole fruit,
- and a glass of juice. Between:
- seasonal fruit,
- and HFCS syrup in ultra-processed food. When we eat a whole fruit:
- we have fiber,
- slower absorption,
- smaller fructose load per unit of time,
- vitamins,
- polyphenols,
- water,
- natural limit of quantity. The body receives a signal smoothly. But with juices and HFCS:
- the fiber is missing,
- absorption is fast,
- the fructose load reaches the liver all at once. And that changes everything. An apple is a different biology than apple juice. Especially when:
- the juice is concentrated,
- intake is daily,
- lack of movement,
- lack of seasonality,

- insulin resistance,
- metabolic dysfunction. The problem is not the fruit. The problem is:
concentration,
frequency,
lack of rhythm
and the constant signal to stockpile.
