Liver detox is not a one-step process!
🧪 Liver detox is not a one-step process! Detoxification occurs in two distinct phases that must be in balance to cleanse the body effectively and safely? 🔹 Phase I - Activation
Enzymes break down toxins into reactive intermediate molecules. These intermediate forms are often more dangerous than the original substances – they oxidize, radicalize and can damage cells. 🔹 Phase II - Neutralization and Disposal
Activated molecules are "labeled" by methylation, sulfation, glutathione, etc., making them water-soluble and ready for excretion through bile, urine, or sweat. 🥦 Important!
Without adequate nutrition with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants, these phases cannot work properly.
👉 Deficiencies not only block detox, but can lead to re-intoxication, inflammation and an even heavier burden on the body. 🚫 Therefore: hunger, drastic diets and "aggressive" cleansing without preparation are not a solution.
True detox begins with support, not collapse.
