Front and back imaging of temperature patterns, local differences and symmetry between areas.
AGAIA Thermal Functional Analysis
Functional infrared thermography
A look beyond what the eye can see. Understand more about the functional state of your body. Infrared imaging captures fine temperature changes on the surface that are otherwise invisible.
Price of the visit €59.00

What to expect
-
Safe and non-invasive No radiation, no physical contact and no effect on the tissues.
-
20–30 minutes A quick capture, then an expert analysis sent by email.
-
Prevention and awareness See temperature patterns and get a new perspective on your body.
The method provides extra functional information. It is not a medical diagnosis, it does not diagnose, and it does not replace an exam, lab tests or imaging.
What you receive
Not only a thermal image: a structured functional analysis with practical notes.

The findings are read with circulation, thermoregulation, the musculoskeletal system and recovery.
We connect the results with your symptoms, activity and lifestyle, and mark what deserves attention.
Notes on food, movement, recovery, sleep and daily habits, matched to the findings.
After the changes, a repeat scan can compare patterns, asymmetries and how they shift.
How the visit goes
Four steps. The analysis and recommendations arrive by email after the visit.

-
You book a time
Pick a date and time. You receive short instructions beforehand so the measurement is comparable.
-
We scan without contact
We image the body from several positions, with no contact, radiation or exertion. The visit is about 20–30 minutes.
-
We interpret the results
After the visit we review the images and prepare a report with observations and recommendations.
-
You get the analysis by email
A structured functional report you can keep and use for follow-up.
What thermography can show
- Temperature asymmetries Differences between left and right, or between separate areas.
- Peripheral circulation Patterns that draw attention to local blood flow and thermoregulation.
- Local reactions Areas of higher surface temperature that, in context, can accompany inflammatory processes.
- Muscle load Differences in areas of pain, overload or slow recovery.
- Thermoregulation Distribution linked to nervous control of skin blood flow.
- Change over time A comparison when the scan is repeated after changes in habits, load or recovery.
What you should know
- It measures skin-surface temperature, not the temperature or function of internal organs directly.
- Temperature changes can have many causes and do not by themselves prove disease, inflammation or a circulation disorder.
- We treat the results as extra information for the next step: prevention, follow-up or further assessment.
Who it is for
- Active people and athletes You want to follow patterns during load, muscle imbalance or recovery.
- Slow recovery You often feel fatigue, tension or discomfort long after exertion.
- Cold limbs Unusual sensations of cold, heat, or differences between parts of the body.
- More awareness You feel well, and you want to learn more and approach prevention more deliberately.
Functional thermography visualizes skin-surface temperature. The analysis is informational and meant for follow-up. It is read together with symptoms, history and other tests.
How to prepare
For accurate, comparable results the body should be calm and in its usual state, without factors that temporarily change skin temperature.
- Skip intense training and heavy physical load.
- No sauna, steam room, sunbed, or warming therapies.
- No alcohol.
- Skip intense massage and treatments that heat or cool the tissues.
- Eat normally and drink water. You do not need to fast.
- Get enough sleep and rest.
- No sport, hot shower or bath for at least 2–3 hours beforehand.
- Do not apply creams, oils, lotions or warming products on the areas to be scanned.
- No coffee, energy drinks, nicotine or very hot drinks for at least 2–3 hours beforehand.
- Wear comfortable, loose clothes that do not press on the skin.
- Arrive calmly, without rushing or physical effort.
- Before the scan we allow time to adapt to the room temperature.
- The visit takes 20–30 minutes. The analysis and recommendations come by email.
If you have a fever, an acute illness, a recent injury, or you take medication that affects circulation and thermoregulation, tell us in advance. Do not stop prescribed medicine for this scan.
